Hi Shawna,

Just wanted to let you know that Emmitt is doing great and he's adjusting very nicely. Housebreaking is also going nicely. He knows he gets a reward/praise after going outside, and he's even been giving us a slight warning in that he'll go to the door for a quick second or two, then we have about 30 seconds to take him outside.

Thanks and have a great day,
Chris

We just wanted to let you know he is here and we are so happy!!!

He is beautiful, everyone is coming over tomorrow to see the new addition to our family.
Thank you again, and feel free to drop a line to hear how he is doing if you like.

My kids and wife haven't let him out of their sight yet.
My son has decided to name him Kodiak.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Hi Shawna,

The puppy arrived at the airport and the pick up went perfectly. Of course all the airline employees were immediately in love with her as was our whole family. Just as you said, she is beautiful, and has the sweetest disposition. This whole experience has been wonderful. We will send you an update and let you know how she’s doing.

Best regards from a very happy family with a new dog,

Sean

Hey Shawna,

I'm Jamie Oliver's girlfriend and the reason we got the puppy. We named him Casey and he is doing great!! Training is going well. Potty training was tough though. He finally got sick of waiting for us and trained himself. Jamie and I couldn't seem to figure out his schedule so he figured out how to let himself out the cat door instead.

Crate training was extremely easy thanks to you guys. He really enjoys spending time in his crate and heads straight there for his naps. He's great at sitting and loves to play fetch too. Casey has already met and made friends with a lot of other dogs in the area. He's growing so fast- as of Saturday he weighed 21 pounds! I've attached a few pictures, although these are a few weeks old now.

His first vet appointment went well (he seemed to love every minute of it). We have another appointment on Saturday for his next vaccine.

Hope you and your family are doing well. Thank you very much for all the trouble you went through to get him down here on Christmas Eve. He was a great Christmas present and really made our holidays. Thank you also for checking in; please keep in touch.

Thank you and take care,
Allyn R.

Hi Shawna,

It's been crazy-busy here since "George" arrived last Saturday night and I haven't had a chance to send you any news or photos of our new arrival. Well, the pictures are attached and the News is as follows:

  • Our Rott, Lexi, is delighted with her new companion;
  • She chose to sleep with the puppy in our larger crate;
  • Our grandids were delighted to meet the cute little guy;
  • He had his vet appt. on Tuesday and all is well; and,
  • We're delighted with him!

I'll send you updates as our newest ' baby' continues to have new adventures.

Take care,
Nancy I.

Shawna,

Hunter is doing great. He has been such a joy to have around. His training has been going good, the information you gave me has really come in handy. He is such a sweetie and loves playing with my kids. Thanks so much we love him a ton.

Kim B.

Shawna,

She's doing great! Seems very affectionate and playful. She did well despite a marathon layover in Houston due to the weather-- Just wanted OUT of the crate. She sleeps well in her crate with a fuzzy toy and a beach towel on her pad.

Shawna,

Here is the 1st installment of pictures of Molly on her first day home Sat. Dec. 16, 2007. Did not sleep real well the 1st night, better the 2nd, and last night slept through the night! Great appetite and she had her visit with the vet yesterday. She weighs 6 lbs. and Terry said all the ladies wanted to hold her and be the one take care of her.

Allie is doing great - she's about 18 lbs, very loving, sensitive, and energetic. Housebreaking is going good, she gets busy and forgets, so we are resitricting her boundaries to help her. She takes lots of walks during the day, and absolutely loves the cats. She looks like a colt right now with her long legs. We are enjoying her tremendously.

Thanks!
Susan

Hi Shawna!

Thanks for your email. We're really doing great! He's the sweetest puppy. He's met everyone at my school as well as family and friends and has been super through it all! I can tell you have been working with him because he really understands "potty", "release", "sit", and "fetch"! We went to the vet and he completed his shots, got a heartworm med, and flea protection med. He does seem to be a picky eater though. Any suggestions? I'm feeding him the nutro natural large breed puppy and the science diet puppy. He also loves to chew on those Nylabones. Better than the furniture!!! We start puppy training classes on Monday. He really is a great dog ~ everyone loves him! I couldn't be happier:) Oh - the vet said I should neuter him at 4 1/2 months. My sister-in-law thinks I should wait until he's close to a year so he will benefit from all those male hormones. What do you think of that? I'm going to get a port for my camera so I can send pictures - look for some in the near future!

Thanks!

Hey Shawna,

We just wanted to thank you for all of your help and for little Bradford. We took him to the vet yesterday and everyone loved him. He is one healthy happy puppy. Training has been going pretty good he has only had a few accidents. He is already figuring out what sit means. He is calm, sweet, smart and spoiled. We just adore him!!! We are one complete family!!

Thanks so much, Sara T.

Hi Shawna - Sorry we haven't gotten back to you sooner but it's been a very hectic week. We made it home all right - he was such a good boy on that long drive home. I came down with a really bad cold on Monday morning and have felt crummy all week. Gabriel is doing great. He is making himself at home and getting acquainted with all the new things in his new house, as well as getting to know his big sister. She wasn't crazy about him at first but seems to really love him now. She gets a little frustrated because he doesn't seem to get the idea of chasing her around the yard but we assured her that would come in time. When she plays too rough for him, he knows his kennel is his safe place, which is good.

Thanks Shawna - Cathy, Toni, Bayfield and Gabriel

Hello Shawna,

Amy and I just wanted to send you some pictures of little Hobson. He is doing wonderful and we are very grateful to have him as a part of our family. He has really surprised us in how fast he is learning (and growing)! He sits on command and goes to the door when he needs to go out and he is only 9 weeks!! We have been taking him to a lot of different places and letting him get to know a lot of different people and family pets. He has been nothing short of a complete joy to everyone he meets and plays with!

We hope that sometime soon we can get together with you, Becky and Noah to play again! We will keep you updated with more pictures as he continues to grow. Once again, thank you so much for Hobson! He has really brought a lot of smiles in our lives!

Hey Shawna,

Heres a picture of Kody and Kuda playing in the leaves. He is doing very well!

I took him to minnesota yesterday to visit my parents and see the car show, he did some major socializing there! He got more attention than the cars! LOL! He whined alot at first , then we put him in the wagon with Kody & he mellowed right out. He did soooo well, I can't even begin to tell you! It will be exciting this week as well. Wednesday I am having the WHOLE SWIM team (30 girls) at my house for a swim dinner, my 17 year old daughter Mandy is one of the fastest sprinters and backstroker on the swim team & this is her last year swimming (senior), so it should be fun! Then the kids are off from school wed-fri. so we are heading up north to close up the camper for the season. Kuda should be a little more relaxeed up there, not very busy, not ever very many people ever, even on busy weekends. He is such a blessing to us. he has such a sweet little spirit, a bit rebelious at times, but hey, hes just a babay yet. I wouldn't have it any other way! You got so many compliments, on what a good job you are doing being a breeder, Bravo to you!

Thank you!
Mary

He is SUCH a great puppy! He has slept through the night since day one, and even likes to go in his crate on his own while we're at home relaxing with him! You did a great job associating him with his name because he's recognized his name since day one also. He loves cuddling up with his blanket he had with his Mom and littermates as well as his Blue dog and his Goldie doll. We gave him a bath then clipped & filed his nails last weekend and he actually passed out asleep!! He likes the car, loves chasing scattering leaves and is a total people and car watcher. He likes all the small nooks and crannies of our apartment to nap in and has been telling us when he needs to go outside! He knows which door takes us back into the apartment building and when we get upstairs will run right to our apartment door and sit at it. I'll even try to trick him and keep walking down the hall but he stays put and just looks at me! How smart huh? He loves ice cubes and going to Petsmart. He's really got a great demeanor, he can be calm and content, and also playful and curious! He sleeps a lot and knows his Mom and Dad already. Hobson loves to roll around on the floor with Joe and play with him like one of his littermates, and he will curl up in my lap and chew on a bone. He's growing like a weed and we're just loving and enjoying every moment of him!

Thanks Shawna,
Amy

Hi Shawna,

I just wanted to give you an update and let you know how’s your boy Brody is doing. He is one spoiled little puppy. He got enough toys last week to last him for the next 3 X-Mas. (I will send some pics).

He is so smart you have no idea. He knows how to; sit, down, stand, beg, play dead, roll over, shake hand, hi five -on command. I thought I was pushing him too hard but he seemed to enjoy his home schooling. They (Brody and Momo) get along real well, and no sign of sibling rivalry whatsoever. They share everything even food!! However, I had to stop using words “bad puppy” on Brody. He seems to be heartbroken every time he hears it, even with smooth tone of voice. He is such a kind loving sweet heart and so eager to please. It crushes him if he knows he does something to disappoint us. I had to use “no” or “stop”. He knows “no” means unwanted behavior and “stop” means stop what he is doing at the moment. How smart, huh?

The other day I made a little boy cry at Petsmart. He was about 3 year old bringing their pocket size dog for grooming with his parents. He asked if he could pet Brody. They got down on the floor and played with each other. It was picture perfect for a X-mas card. I told him Brody would sleep in his bed if he allowed it and I a few months he would be able to ride Brody like a pony. The little boy cried and asked for his dad to buy him Brody for x-mas. It is so hard not to fall in love with Brody. He is truly an angel with fur. Thank you so much….

Hi Shawna,

We just wanted to write to you to let you know how our lab, Sarge, is doing since we brought him home last February. He is such a delight! He is about 80lbs. right now and still growing. We think he looks just like his dad, Koda. He is very well behaved, except for grabbing things that aren't his. He now drops them when asked and is learning everyday. He slept through the night since that first night he was with us and never cries in his kennel. He really has brought our family such love and we thank you for all of your consideration in helping us pick the puppy that was right for our family. He is a gentle giant and would not hurt a flea. We hope all is well with you and hope to one day get Sarge a companion which of course we would love to get from you! Take care! I have attached a picture taken of Sarge in late October. He is quite the handsome fellow!

Hi Shawna,

Its Eric. How are you? I was emailing you to tell you that "Halo" is doing great and is a very nice boy. I will forward some pics to you. I was also thinking of buying another one from you. When is the next litter due? I was thinking either yellow or chocolate this time...maybe another black one =).

Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
